The first time I listened to this song was in 2005, brings back alot of memories. Unhappy and sad, it was a tough period in my life. The protagonist told us when he was young his parents and relative have big hope in him, they think he will be a great man when he grow up. As he get old, his friends also look up to him. However this gave him great pressure. He feel that every decision that he make have to be right, and he is so worry that he would do something wrong and get everyone around to be disappointed. So every step for him is like a life time long as there is so much pressure. He hopes that someone could share the pressure with him, someone who could walk the path with him and tell him not to worry and give him strength.

Hoped that I would step on an escalator?
Without a way to turn back.
Has had expectations.
Future and love,
with everything obtained
Along the way even if we have to collapse,
we have to collapse nicely.
So that I will not remorse,
repay the high hopes of others.
