Even the biggest diva has departed us
in a blink of an eye,
The ever grassy hill has
suddenly become an ant hill,
It’s as if the universe has
rejected the concept of time,
And no matter how mundane life has become
I still haven’t seen it all

No matter how much you treasure your toys

Will the band of brothers
really be with you forever?

and all the gifts given will
eventually be wasted as flowers
turn into dirt.

Sunsets are infinitely great
as the sun goes down,
I originally wanted to use love
to prove the magnificence of life
Who knew the long kiss
can bring an even longer sadness?

Of course it’s a scenic view,
as sunsets usually are,
But just like seeing it in real life,
it is never the same.
