相思路魂飛苦
Xiāng sī lù hún fēi kǔ
A journey of yearning, (my) soul flies from the pain
明月含煙仍孤獨
Míng yuè hán yān réng gū dú
The bright moon shrouded in mist remains lonely
蝶無花倦飛舞
Dié wú huā juàn fēi wǔ
The butterfly has no flower to tiredly flutter around
幾番相思卻年年虛度
Jǐ fān xiāng sī què nián nián xū dù
How many times have (we) yearned, yet year after year fritter time away
冷風月幾回圓
Lěng fēng yuè jǐ huí yuán
How many times has the cold moon been full?
孤燈寒夜愁難眠
Gū dēng hán yè chóu nán mián
A lone light in the cold night, worried and sleepless
花無主孤飛雁
Huā wú zhǔ gū fēi yàn
The flower has no master, a wild goose flies alone
幾度纏綿何時再相見
Jǐ dù chán mián hé shí zài xiāng jiàn
How intense are our feelings, when can we see each other again?
我的心只有你懂
Wǒ de xīn zhǐ yǒu nǐ dǒng
Only you understand my heart
孤琴難奏鴛鴦夢
Gū qín nán zòu Yuān Yāng Mèng
It is difficult for a lone zither to play <<The Mandarin Ducks' Dream>>
誰的心事在捉弄
Shuí de xīn shì zài zhuō nòng
Whose worry is teasing?
輕言別離卻難重逢
Qīng yán bié lí què nán chóng féng
It is easy to talk about separating but it is difficult to be reunited
苦了相愛的人難相隨
Kǔ le xiāng'ài de rén nán xiāng suí
Lovers who have gone through hardship find it difficult to be together
我情願為你醉
Wǒ qíng yuàn wèi nǐ zuì
I will willingly be drunk for you
花兒憔悴苦酒都是淚
Huā er qiáo cuì kǔ jiǔ dōu shì lèi
The flowers wither, the bitter wine is entirely (your) tears
別再讓最愛的人傷悲
Bié zài ràng zuì'ài de rén shāng bēi
Don’t let the one you love the most feel sorrow
是我情願不後悔
Shì wǒ qíng yuàn bù hòu huǐ
It is I, who am willing to have no regrets
我的愛有你才完美
Wǒ de ài yǒu nǐ cái wán měi
My love is only perfect with you
[Repeat all of above once]
苦了相愛的人難相隨
Kǔ le xiāng'ài de rén nán xiāng suí
